We come in (local accounts only), take a look at your system, optimize it, help you install the software, help you go over the files you need backed up, then, depending on the size we may do a full backup to an external drive and transport it to our facility to set up your account. We setup the RBS software at our end to start your backups within one business day of the installation. Installation fee is due when the client software is installed. For those accounts that are not local and need to do an initial full backup, the setup charge covers this initial bandwidth usage and does not count against the daily usage for your account type.

On-Site:
$65.00 per hour for on-site restoration of Remote Backup. If needed, we re-install our software and then restore your backed up data files. Other computer restoration services are available through DataThought Consulting at $75 per hour. This may include restoration of your network, programs, equipment. No charge using your Recovery disk or saved recovery key data. If you need assistance via phone, we will bill at our hourly phone consulting fee of $65/hr. You can call us up to get your copy of the RBS software for you to re-install yourself for free .
Archived Data: Data older than one year is archived. We can supply you with an archived copy of your encrypted data on CD in monthly increments for your records. Fee for this is $20.00 per month on a contracted basis. One time requests are $40.00 To access and recover archived data, the data must be loaded on our server.
We require all customers to pay one month in advance, based on your current level of bandwidth usage. We gladly accept Cash, Checks, Mastercard, and Visa.
Billing: Monthly account clients will receive a statement once a month for the next months service. All bills are sent out on the 15th of the month and are due by the 1st. Payment must be received no later than the 10th of the month to continue the service. Re-activation fee of $50. If an account bandwidth usage is exceeded, the account will auto-promote to the next level. If you pay semi-annually or annually once you promote, you cannot demote for the period of the current account type. Any difference in payment required for a promoted account type will appear the following month.
Customers can receive an email (if desired) regarding backup work performed. It will list the dates and times of all backups. The statement also includes a summary of errors detected in your data, and any trouble encountered during the backup process.
